How do I know if I need extermination?

The answer to this question is pretty simple. If you see just a few ants or just one mouse, those few ants or one mouse have a whole bunch of buddies  lurking where you can't see them. If you have even a slightly visible problem then you have a problem. Left untreated, you could have a crisis.

What are your "environmentally sound alternatives?"

We use state-of-the-art low toxicity chemicals that are much less harmful to people, pets, and their environments than what is currently offered by the majority of the pest control market.

I have a whole bunch of pests and a lot of them. Do you have a solution?

If you have a feeling one treatment isn't enough to keep your house pest free, we offer a couple of different options.

How long do I have to leave the premises?

Because we use low toxicity chemicals, you can usually stay home during the treatment. Roaches, ants, mice, termites, and just about everything else can be taken care of while you're relaxing on the living room couch.

What about pets?

We ask that during treatments, you either put your pets in a room that is not being treated or remove them from the structure until the materials we have used are dry. Fish tanks need to be covered.

Do the chemicals you use have a real bad odor?

Another great benefit of low toxicity chemicals is virtually odorless pest control. No longer do you need to be reminded that you received extermination by a nasty, lingering odor.

Do you guarantee your work?

We stand behind all of our work. Should any problems arise within a reasonable amount of time after the completion of the job, we will return for no extra charge, completely hassle-free.

How much damage can termites do to my home?

Termite feeding and ensuing damage varies greatly based on colony size, alternate food sources, seasonality and many other factors. Significant damage can occur over a 1-3 year span, depending on the above factors. Therefore, it is critical that you have a professional assess your home's unique needs and prescribe the Advance Termite Bait System to eliminate colonies around your home.

Is termite damage generally covered by a homeowner's policy?

No, in most cases termite damage is excluded from homeowner policies. Check with your pest control professional for an ongoing protection program with Advance.

Why is the Advance Termite Bait System the ideal choice for the primary protection of your home?
  • Advance monitors, detects and eliminates colonies that are currently or may invade your home.
  • An Advance installation is less intrusive than other traditional liquid methods.
  • Advance provides long-term protection of your home and is always on guard for new termites foraging around your home.
  • Advance is low impact to the environment and your pets. Children have no contact with the active ingredient as it is secured below ground in the station housing.
  • Advance utilizes the latest termite research and technology available. It features the ultra low disturbance station design that keeps termites feeding voraciously on the Puri-Cell™ bait matrix, which leads to colony elimination.

I heard termites are only a problem in southeastern states.

Actually, termites are a problem in homes from New England to Florida, throughout the mid-west and to California. All states except Alaska have some degree of termite pressure. Having your home preventatively treated with the Advance Termite Bait System is a sound decision.

Can I have termites in my home and not see a "termite swarm"?

Yes, termites can be in a home for years without swarming in a visible area. Each year, thousands of homes have termites that are found only by inspection from a professional pest control company.

Do I need to leave my home at any time during an Advance Termite Bait System treatment?

No, there is no reason that an installation of Advance would require you to leave your home. However, if a pest management professional chooses to “spot treat” a specific area of your home depending on the product used for that treatment, they may require you to leave your home temporarily.

How often will my bait stations be checked with the Advance Termite Bait System?

Stations will be checked on a regular basis based on the needs of your home and the feeding activity of termites in your area.
